Proposition 63: Firearms and ammunition sales

Proposition 63 requires individuals to pass background checks and obtain the authorization of the Department of Justice before purchasing firearms and prohibits the possession of large-capacity ammunition magazines. It also requires civilians to report lost firearms to law enforcement officials and prohibits individuals convicted of stealing firearms from possessing firearms.
