Since former Assistant Principal Bryan Martin announced his departure to further advance his career, the school has been searching for a new assistant principal to continue his role.

For the past 32 years, Jean Gordon has worked at the Conejo Valley Unified District as a teacher, dean, assistant principal and principal.  

“I’m very excited to be here,” Gordon said. “I loved high school, it was my favorite time.”

Jean Gordon has experience teaching and administrating at Thousand Oaks High School, Newbury Park High School, Redwood Middle School and Acacia Elementary School.

“I don’t know a whole lot about your school [yet]. My goal is make sure that I do everything Mr. Buchanan needs me to do and that I hold this place steady- hold the fort down.” Gordon said.
