Bringing life to life

Jack Wulf's extraordinary artistic talent

June 18, 2015

Sophomore Jack Wulf is a hyperrealistic artist and an extraordinary still-life drawer.

His passion for drawing started at a young age — with crayons.

“I’ve kept that passion since I was a little kid and just kept drawing,” Wulf said. “I feel like skills just naturally progress the more you draw, pretty much like any other hobby or passion for that matter, you naturally get better at something the more you do it.”

While Wulf has recently been experimenting with abstract people and colors, much of his work portrays simple objects in a hyperrealistic style.

“Simple objects or things in nature that people pass by daily can be very interesting if you actually stop to look at them,” Wulf said.

Wulf sells his artwork on his website.
