Proposition 62: Repeal of the Death Penalty
October 27, 2016
Proposition 62 repeals the death penalty, replacing it with life imprisonment without the possibility of parole. It also requires all individuals convicted of murder to work, while in prison, to pay debts to the victims of the crime they committed.
