Kanan Fire House

We have met with the Ventura County Fire Department to uncover what it’s like to put their lives on the line for the general safety of our community. So, what does it mean to be a fireman? We get some first-hand information from trained firefighter and paramedic Brian Davis to get a picture of what this position means to him.

Station 36 of the Ventura County Fire Department is located just across the street from Oak Park High School on Deerhill Road. Not only do they combat real-world dangers, but they also work with the school community in classes such as CERT where emergency preparatory training is involved.
