The homecoming football game and dance made quite the weekend, they both brought out a cheer and kept Eagles waiting for more. Though the football game on Friday Sept. 23 ended with a score of 6-46 with Moorpark taking the win, the Eagles persisted and persevered throughout the night.
Eddie Mubarak, offense player for the Eagles, was uncertain if the Eagles’ could keep up in the second half of the game. However, support from his team and coach inspired him to try harder.
“At halftime we had a really big talk, it kind of changed our mood, I think we came out harder in the second half more than the first half.”
The following night, the homecoming dance commenced. Diya Johny a junior attending the dance appreciated the effort ASB out into making the dance aesthetic.
“The set up was nice, the desserts [they gave out] were good.”
