Winter has arrived with cold dewy mornings and windy afternoons. This winter, Oak Park High School students are gearing up for temperatures below 60 degrees and heavy downpours. Boots and big puffer jackets have been seen all over campus, but beware water will destroy a pair of Uggs!
Cargo is King! As seen on Kelsey Frieborn cargos in all shapes, colors and zipper styles. Along with the rise of cargo, the “Essentials” line by company Fear Of God has gotten all the hype recently. The use of base tones to capture their designs on hoodies and shorts has turned heads. More pale tones are seen on sweatpants styled with a cute top. Preserving a comfy, yet stylish winter.
The weather may be getting cooler, but men’s boxer shorts have still found their way onto campus. Worn oversized, they work as a cute short to tie together any outfit. Dressing them up with a small wedge can make them a little more refined, or go for a more casual and comfy California winter look with Uggs.

Welcome cool tones. After a long, hot summer, it is finally time to bring back those base tone colors. Worn well with black, tones like blue can be a great simple way to tie in the season to your outfit. A long skirt to blow in the wind as the dramatic touch, and Nike high-top dunks add a modern twist.

Uggs have always been a popular shoe but seem to be all the rage nowadays. These boots are not only super comfortable but they are extremely warm and perfect to wear on cold days. They pair perfectly with all types of pants, skirts, dresses and anything you can put on! Just make sure to keep them dry as they are not waterproof.

It’s finally sweater weather! Students are wearing many different types of sweaters including long ones, short ones, fuzzy ones and knit ones. Wearing a sweater is the perfect way to keep warm while still looking cute.

Vintage coats are all the rage. With cold winds approaching, leather jackets and fur-trimmed coats are the perfect choice. Thrift shops are filled to the brim with amazing high-quality coats ready to be bought. These coats can be paired perfectly with jeans and a simple boot!
Remember to stay warm this holiday season. As always, thank you for dressing to impress OPHS and good luck as you face cold temperatures and head on in our outdoor campus.
