In his first year at Oak Park High School, Jeff Sanchez is teaching the computer science classes. Sanchez comes to OPHS with many years of experience.
“I have been teaching for many years,” Sanchez wrote to the Talon. “I have taught within the state of California, instructing many students from many different backgrounds.”
Outside of school, Sanchez has many hobbies. These include tech hobbies as well.
“I am an avid reader,” Sanchez wrote. “I love the classics as well as new technological developments.”
OPHS offers a variety of computer classes, giving students the opportunity to explore different pathways. Sanchez recognizes these opportunities, both in the classroom and on campus.
“I hope our students at Oak Park will choose multiple advanced opportunities offered both at the High School and/or Collegiate level,” Sanchez wrote. “I also hope many Oak Park students will take advantage of all the vocational opportunities offered here.”
Sanchez has not only enjoyed teaching, but also his time on campus.
“The environment at Oak Park seems to be quite welcoming,” Sanchez wrote. “The campus is open and trusting. It’s a wonderful aspect compared to many other learning institutions.”
