Happy Friday, Oak Park. Here’s what you need to know to wrap-up your week and begin your weekend:
Last Week: Eagles basketball advances against San Joaquin Memorial
Oak Park defeated San Joaquin Memorial High School 71-42 to advance to the second round of the CIF Division III State Championships. They will take on Bernstein High School on Saturday, March 12.
This week: Dodgeball tournament
The first school-wide dodgeball tournament is tonight in the gym from 6:30 to 7 p.m.
Next week: Mr. Eagle pageant
The annual Mr. Eagle pageant is next Friday, March 18 from 6:30 to 7 p.m. in the Pavilion. Three male participants will represent each grade level. Tickets will be sold for $5.
Beyond Oak Park: Protesters clash with Trump supporters at rally
A rally for GOP frontrunner Donald Trump was cancelled Friday after violence broke out between protesters and Trump supporters. Five individuals were arrested and two police officers were injured.
