Winter sports playoff matchups announced
CIF brackets released
CIF playoff brackets were released on Tuesday. 3 of the 4 winter sports teams made it to playoffs – Boys’ soccer, Boys’ basketball and Girls’ soccer.
The playoffs start on Friday, Feb. 11 at home at 5 pm for Boys’ soccer. The 12-3-2 Eagles will face 8-6-0 Alemany.
“It’s going to be an exciting game. I’m hyped for it to be at home,” senior goalkeeper Noah Teichner said.
The night will continue at 7 p.m. for Boys’ basketball as they face JSerra. The game will be the first with no fan restrictions since earlier in the season.
“Can’t wait to see the student section packed and all the fans back,” senior Varsity basketball player Justice Nobert said.
Finally, on Saturday at 3 pm Girls’ soccer will have an away game against Hart in Santa Clarita.
“We feel prepared and can’t wait to get out on the field,” senior Grace Zeolla said.
