In the wake of numerous fresh breakups and divorces, Hollywood is seeing new and strange couple combinations surface, some that the fans love, and many that they do not. Here are our ranks of Hollywood’s so-called “IT” couples.

1. Zendaya and Tom Holland

Known famously for being unproblematic, the tension for this couple began building with the release of Spiderman: Homecoming. Playing love interests, MJ and Peter Parker started falling in love before the actors that played them had. The internet shipped these two together through the press tours and release of both of the first two Spiderman films, but it was only before the third film that they confirmed their relationship. Their cute moments throughout the press tour of their newest film, Spiderman: No Way Home, had the world crying happy tears. Their social media interactions when posting photos of each other, promoting each other’s new projects and commenting on their posts has everyone swooning over Tomdaya.

2. Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn

Another unproblematic couple that has been going strong for over five years now. Taylor Swift fans are happy to finally see her in a healthy and loving relationship. After being judged by society about her serial dating history, Swift has finally settled down with actor Joe Alwyn. This celebrity couple keeps their relationship on the down low with the only real insight fans get being fromTaylor’s music. Not only has Alwyn become someone Swift can rely on in an emotional sense, he has also helped her write some of her newest albums. Despite the fact that the two only have a few photos pictured together, it’s safe to say that they compliment each other very well. 

3. Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson

An unexpected duo has taken over the internet and has caused fans to form controversial opinions. Between petty fights with Kim Kardashian’s former husband Kanye West and new boyfriend Pete Davidson, the media has made this couple quite relevant in conversation. There are questions being raised as to how legitimate Kim and Pete’s relationship is, however it seems that Davidson is doing a stellar job in bringing back Kim’s “happy-glow.”After numerous tropical vacation pictures have been posted to social media, the fondness of Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson as a couple seems to grow. While their relationship seems random and perhaps some-what speedy, they both seem to be living their best lives together. Whether they will last in the long run or if it is merely a pre-summer fling, is still up for debate, but in current times the couple seems to be thriving. 

4. Hailey Bieber and Justin Bieber 

A pretty steady couple has kept a lot of their tensions semi-private, however fans have picked up on one of what seems to be recurring issues. It is true that many “Beliebers” were essentially heart-broken when Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez ended things for good, but fans have gone a little overboard. Fans rooting for “Jelena” to reunite has perhaps affected Bieber’s current marriage in a negative way. Fans outwardly expressing a disliking for Hailey and Justin’s relationship of course will affect the couple in one way or another, but it doesn’t seem like that is the only issue they are working through. Justin Bieber has been accused of treating Hailey in a less than respectful manner by yelling at her in a viral TikTok, which created suspicion as to how he treats her off camera. There have been rumors that say Justin was not yelling directly at Hailey, but instead was just in a hyped mood after his concert causing him to wave his hands in the air, but this incident still leaves fans questioning. 

5. Hunter Schafer and Dominic Fike

Rumored to have cheated on his partner, Dominic Fike and Hunter Schafter find themselves toward the bottom of this list. Fike was caught entering restaurants with other girls at his side that were most definitely not Shafer. Making their first official appearance as a couple on the Oscars Vanity Fair Red Carpet, they seemed to be displeased in the presence of each other. Although their onscreen chemistry in HBO Max’s Euphoria was strong, their presence in person felt weaker. 

6. Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly

This couple got together, and instantly people were impressed. People found them to be a fun, attractive couple that complemented each other well. However, as time progressed, people became less and less satisfied with the different facets of their relationship. First, and most prominently, is the way they are constantly dark and moody with their romantic relationship. MGK publicly confirmed that Fox’s engagement ring causes her physical pain to be removed for reasoning along the lines of “love is pain.” These abnormal tendencies cause the public to find their relationship increasingly repulsive.

7. Olivia Wilde and Harry Styles

Speaking of repulsive, these two A-List superstars graced the internet with their presence last year after paparazzi photos spotted them together at a wedding, and then many times afterwards in public and on the set of their upcoming film Don’t Worry Darling. Having a ten year age gap, Styles’ large fan base was very disproving of this relationship. As a mother of two, a serious relationship between the two would make Styles an insta-dad to Wilde’s children. The two have been accused of being a PR stunt for their film, but the length of the relationship says otherwise.
