Friday: SAT boot camp and drama production

Happy Friday Oak Park. Hope you’ve had another great four day week. Here’s the scoop.

Last Week: Oak Park rallies to defeat Santa Paula 35-30

In front of a raucous crowd, the Eagles improved to 5-0 on the season after rallying to defeat the Santa Paula Cardinals. Oak Park lead 28-18 at halftime thanks to star quarterback David Schmucker, yet the offense faltered in the third quarter, allowing Santa Paula to accrue twelve unanswered points. With less than a minute remaining in the game, Schmucker connected with junior wideout Reece Smith to take the lead, eliciting a wild roar of approval from the Oak Park faithful. The Eagles defense stopped Santa Paula on its ensuing drive as time expired to improve Oak Park’s record to 5-0 on the season.
