As temperatures continue to drop and the weather changes from a brisk autumn to a crisp winter breeze, ASB is offering hot chocolate to help keep students warm during finals. 

“We sell hot chocolate after school during finals and you can come buy and grab a cup for $2,” junior Royce Willis said.

For the low price, a cup of hot chocolate can boost your mood and improve your academic day. 

“Students like drinking hot chocolate in the cold mornings and it’s an opportunity to make a little money as profits go towards ASB and school events,” Willis said.

Finals bring heavy schedules, long days of studying and students long for anything to get some fun in their minds.

“I think it helps relieve some stress after school like if you just took two tests then it’s good to have a nice treat afterward,” Willis said.

Not only is finals week upon us, but the holiday season is in full swing as well.

“The students planned [it] to bring more holiday spirit to Oak Park High School and they just wanted to bring a warm sweet treat to the students here,” ASB advisor Anastasia Taousakis said. 

Hot chocolate will be sold Wednesday, Dec. 18 through Friday, Dec. 20 after school.
