August: Letter from the editor

Dear readers,

Take a deep breath, it’s a new school year. Whether you’re a freshman trying to find Mr. Pryor’s room, a sophomore shmooping the Bible, a junior whipping up several mini essays every week, or a senior bending to your plastic baby’s every whim — we’ve all got at least 10 months together.

In those 10 months, we, as a newspaper staff, hope to produce a high-quality paper that you can respect, read and enjoy — one that will keep you informed and help you explore current issues and events.

Our staff has worked diligently and ardently to publish this edition in less than three weeks. We have, in those three weeks, expanded our newspaper from 16 to 20 pages to provide you, readers, with even more content that you can peruse and share.

We sincerely hope you find something that piques your interest. If you’d like to join our staff in our pursuit of reporting, photographing or designing the truth, join us. We’d be happy to have you.

Until next month,

Medha Vallurupalli,

Editor-in-Chief
