Fall-ing into fun

Venues are opening — go check them out!

As Fall has been lingering for a while now and vaccination rates are rising in both LA and Ventura County, you may be asking ‘what are some fun, local activities to do?’ Well, we have come to your rescue.

The simplest place worthy of a visit would be none other than a pumpkin patch. Locations like Stu’s Seasonal Adventures in Thousand Oaks, Bennett’s Best Christmas Trees and Pumpkins located in Agoura Hills or even Underwood Family Farms, are perfect for picking out some pumpkins and for basking in the joy of a vibrant harvest festival. From pumpkin pie and mouth-watering kettle corn to tractor rides and corn mazes, Underwood has it all. For the lovers of all things spooky, the “Reign of Terror Haunted House” in Thousand Oaks may just knock your socks off.

If you are really looking for a fright, local theme parks hold their annual “Fright Nights.” Universal Studios hosts its annual “Halloween Horror Nights,” with an assortment of chilling mazes, horrifying scare zones and menacing “scare zones.” Are you up to the challenge? The last day to buy tickets is October 31st, so act fast if you haven’t been yet!

As we look forward to a season of pumpkin pie and Friendsgiving celebrations, do not limit yourself only to Thanksgiving-related activities. With the week of November 22nd off of school and finals not too far away, here are some great events to consider attending. Blow off some steam and have fun.
