Oak Park Students Brave Through Perilous SoCal Rainstorms

How it feels to go to school on a rainy day

SoCal’s brief rainy season has arrived and caused quite a stir for the sun-accustomed locals. Rainfall has reached historic levels over the past few weeks, with Oak Park being no exception. Many students talked of a school shut down because of flood warnings and weather service alerts, but OPUSD campuses remained open.

Students must continue to brave through the rain, our hoodies and umbrellas guiding us through the puddles, the drizzles, the torrential downpour. Oak Park stay strong, we will make it to brighter and drier days.
