The Associated Student Body, a group of students who take a leadership elective, orchestrated March Madness week. ASB student Atharv Soam provides insights into the efforts that made the week possible.
“ASB worked very hard to make this event successful and is very happy about the outcome of our efforts,” Soam said. “Seeing this event come to life after lots of hard work was satisfying and quite enjoyable.”
ASB conducted activities on March 17, such as a guess how many Jolly Ranchers are in a container game and tattoos.
“I really enjoyed the activities on the stage, and I had a really fun time,” 6th-grade student Veerender Balaji said. “I felt that the event was well run and a lot of my friends loved it too. It was nice to see everyone wearing green today for St. Patrick’s Day and showing their school spirit.”

ASB hosted many basketball activities, such as a knockout game and a hotshot relay race as well.
“This was one of the best events, and I loved all the basketball activities and spirit days,” 6th-grade student Hudson Moradshi said. “The activities were very well run, and my friends and I really appreciate all the effort put into making these enjoyable events possible!”
