Friday: club week and Clinton’s emails

Happy Friday, Oak Park. Here’s what you need to know to wrap up your week and begin your weekend:

 

This week: girls’ volleyball and club week

The girl’s varsity volleyball team won both of their games. They played against Viewpoint Thursday, Sept. 1. Natasha Rybakova had 18 kills in the varsity game and Allyson Hawkins had 9 kills and 3 aces.

The frosh-soph and junior varsity girls’ volleyball teams also won both of their games.

Club week was this week during lunch in the Pavilion. Students signed up for various clubs and organizations.

Next week: sports and homecoming

Girls’ volleyball plays two home games against Ventura and Agoura.

Girls’ tennis has two away games this week against Newbury Park and Thousand Oaks.

Girls’ golf will play Oaks Christian at Camarillo Springs Tuesday, Sept. 6. They will also play both Calabasas and Chaminade at Calabasas Wednesday, Sept. 7.

Cross country has its first race at Seaside Invitational in San Buenaventura Friday, Sept. 9.

Varsity football plays a home game against El Segundo Friday, Sept. 9.
